'Virgin class 390's Pendolino's'

Virgin Trains (West Coast) Class 390 Pendolino electric multiple units use Fiat Ferroviaria's tilting train Pendolino technology. These electric multiple units were built by Alstom between 2001 and 2004 and 2009 and 2012. The Class 390 has a top speed of 140 mph, but can only do a maximum speed of 125 mph because of the track and signalling on the West Coast Main line.

This Virgin Trains Class 390040 is now named 'Virgin Radio Star' in 2016, it used to be named 'Virgin Pathfinder'. It has We're Back and Virgin Radio logos and the silver grey is now black, with 'It time to re-tune your Radio' in white letters.

These Virgin Trains (West Coast) Class 390 Pendolino electric multiple units are used on the main trans between London and Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham along the West Coast Main Line. There tilting train Pendolino technology is used on the many curves along the West Coast Main line.
